Woman Injured in Fall at Barranco Seco Beach in Santiago del Teide

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE Nov. 21 (EUROPA PRESS) –

A 50-year-old woman has sustained moderate injuries following a fall at Barranco Seco beach, situated in the municipality of Santiago del Teide (Tenerife), as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre of 112 in the Canary Islands.

The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon, prompting the deployment of a rescue helicopter from the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) to reach the individual. After providing initial care, she was transported by air to the helisurface of the Adeje Volunteer Fire Brigade.

Upon arrival on land, personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) assessed her condition and discovered that she had suffered trauma to her lower limb and other moderate health issues, without any complications. Subsequently, she was taken to the Hospiten Sur University Hospital for further treatment.
