Metrotenerife will recommence this Monday, 9th September, the winter schedule for its tram service to cater to mobility needs arising from the economic recovery in the metropolitan region and the commencement of the academic year in educational institutions.
From this date, Monday to Friday, Line 1 will function with intervals of 5 minutes during peak times, while Line 2 will operate every 10 minutes.
In this regard, the company has emphasised in a press statement that the service timetables are available for consultation on the website and across Metrotenerife’s social media platforms, Facebook and Twitter (@tranviatenerife).
The weekday tram service, commencing at 6:00 a.m., will transition to its winter timetable from the 9th, leading to increased vehicle frequencies on both lines.
Line 1 will run every 5 minutes during peak hours, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., thereafter at 6, 12, and 15-minute intervals until the service concludes at midnight (12:00 a.m.).
With respect to Line 2, trams will operate every 10 minutes in the morning and at lunchtime, and then every 12 and 15 minutes until the end of service at midnight.
Lastly, weekend services will continue to operate without interruption, as they have throughout the year.
