The individual behind the TikTok account Hidden in Tenerife has raised concerns about the alarming condition of the coastline in Buenavista, where significant littering has been observed.
A multitude of plastic bottles have amassed mere metres from the shore: “This location is popular among many walkers yet is filled with glass. “Does no one from the local authority come here?” he inquires.
The user further highlights that this area is frequented by numerous families, making it not only an eyesore but also a risk for children. “It is shameful how we are treating our Island,” he emphasises.
