Three individuals are currently in custody as part of an operation targeting the corruption of minors (involving payment for sexual acts, child pornography, and sexual assault) that was initiated last year in the Court of Instruction Number 3 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The Communications Office of the High Court of Justice of the Canary Islands (TSJC) has indicated that the operation remains confidential and that a fourth individual was apprehended on Wednesday in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and will soon be presented before a judge.
He further noted that additional individuals have been under investigation for several months.
The inquiry, which is being conducted by the National Police, progressed significantly on Wednesday with the arrest of a psychologist in the capital of Tenerife and simultaneous searches of his company’s offices both in Santa Cruz and the southern part of the island.
