SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 24 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Tenerife Island Council has transferred the ‘Casa de Camineros’ (City Hall) to the El Sauzal Town Council, which will utilise it as the headquarters for the northern council’s vehicle fleet.
The president of the Cabildo, Rosa Dávila, alongside the mayor of El Sauzal, Mariano Pérez, recently formalised the agreement during an event held at the Insular Palace.
Dávila emphasised in a statement that “such collaborations are vital for municipalities, as the El Sauzal council will now possess space to accommodate part of its vehicle fleet.”
Mariano Pérez expressed his gratitude to the Council for assisting in securing this facility to serve as a parking area for municipal vehicles.
The Casa de Camineros de El Sauzal spans 416 square metres and features a single-storey structure with a rear courtyard and adjoining sheds covering 78 square metres. It is situated along the C-820 road, in the El Montillo district.
The transfer is formalised under the legal mechanism of intersubjective demanial mutation as outlined in article 12 of Decree 8/2015, dated 5 February, which promotes the streamlining and modernisation of asset management for the Canary Islands Local Corporations.
