SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 21 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Early on Saturday morning, a total of four new illegal vessels were discovered carrying approximately 217 migrants while navigating the waters of Lanzarote and Tenerife.
As reported by the Red Cross, medical personnel attended to 49 individuals who had arrived at Puertito de Armeñime in Adeje (Tenerife) at around 6:41 a.m.
All were reportedly in good health, although two individuals required transport to a local hospital due to various health issues.
Additionally, Maritime Rescue indicated that throughout the morning, three inflatable boats with 168 undocumented migrants were rescued in the waters surrounding Lanzarote.
These individuals were then brought to the Arrecife Pier (Lanzarote), arriving at approximately 7:00 a.m. to receive attention from the medical team.
