The Civil Guard, via the Crimes Against Persons Team of the Organic Unit of the Judicial Police, has commenced an inquiry following the finding of a body close to the TF-1 motorway near the town of Arico, situated in the southern part of the island.
This was reported by the newspapers The Day and Notice Diary, with sources from the armed institution confirming this to Europa Press.
The remains indicate signs of a violent death, as they were both burned and bound. The body of a man was discovered on Monday night along a dirt path leading to the La Listada neighbourhood, located on the coastline of the municipality.
