A 19-year-old individual sustained severe injuries on Monday following a motorcycle accident in Candelaria, Tenerife.
The incident transpired just before 4:00 a.m., when the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands Government received a notification indicating that a motorcyclist required medical aid after falling on the TF-1 road heading towards Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) assessed and aided the injured party who, once stabilised, was transported by advanced life support ambulance to La Candelaria Hospital.
The Civil Guard managed traffic on the road and compiled the necessary report, while staff from the Road Maintenance Service undertook cleaning operations on the roadway.
