Motorcycle Collision in Teide National Park Leaves Two Injured

This Saturday, two individuals sustained injuries following a collision between two motorbikes at the 40-kilometre mark of Highway TF-21, located within the Teide National Park (Tenerife).

As reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (Cecoes) 112, personnel from SUC and the Red Cross provided assistance to the injured upon their arrival.

One of the riders suffered serious multiple injuries, necessitating his transfer via medical helicopter from SUC to the helipad of the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital.

The second motorcyclist sustained several moderate injuries and received initial treatment from the Red Cross team, before being transported in a basic life support ambulance from SUC to the same hospital.

Meanwhile, the Civil Guard took over the necessary procedures and managed traffic on the road to facilitate the aircraft’s landing, in cooperation with the road service.
