Fire Erupts in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Leaving Woman Injured

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE 6 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

A 79-year-old woman sustained moderate injuries following a fire that erupted in her residence in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as stated by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre of 112 in the Canary Islands.

The incident took place at 3:40 a.m. in the courtyard of a home located on Avenida de Belgium in the aforementioned municipality. Personnel from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) attended the scene and discovered that the woman had, upon their arrival, experienced moderate poisoning due to smoke inhalation, leading to her transfer by ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria University Hospital.

Furthermore, the members of the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium who responded to the scene extinguished the blaze and ventilated the property. Meanwhile, Civil Protection personnel, along with officers from the Local Police and the National Police, assisted the emergency services and managed the necessary proceedings.
