A new plague is menacing the countryside of Tenerife, which has already been affected by ongoing drought conditions. The green mosquito, measuring only four millimetres in its adult form, poses a significant threat, particularly to vineyard regions. Its presence has surged dramatically in recent months. In response to the detrimental impact of this sap-sucking insect, the Primary Sector department of the Cabildo has initiated a specialised plan.
