El Bloque and Los Charcos Swimming Spots Welcome Visitors Again

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 18 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, through its department for Public Services, Health and Environmental Sustainability, has announced that the most recent water quality assessments conducted in the El Bloque and Los Charcos swimming areas in Valleseco are positive, permitting their reopening and swimming.

Today, the Health Inspection and Laboratory Service of the Tenerife Health Area from the Canary Islands Health Service (SCS) submitted the outcomes of these assessments, which have indicated normal parameters following the findings of contamination detected yesterday during routine studies carried out by the same service.

The Council wishes to remind that municipal personnel collect water samples and perform regular inspections to guarantee that the beach meets appropriate cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards, ensuring it is suitable for swimming.
