A man has been apprehended in the municipality of La Laguna in Tenerife as the suspected offender of a public health crime, after National Police officers discovered 31 grams of cocaine and 10,730 euros in his car.
The arrest took place in the Los Andenes neighbourhood when officers of the National Police noticed a parked car containing two women and a man who was concealing himself in the rear. Upon becoming aware of the police presence, he attempted to hide, as reported by the police force.
The officers confirmed that the man had an outstanding search and arrest warrant, and during the vehicle search, they uncovered 31 grams of cocaine and 10,730 euros in cash.
