On Saturday, the helicopter belonging to the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) of the Canary Islands Government airlifted a cyclist who had tumbled into a ravine in Valle Tahodio, located in Anaga, Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
As stated by the Emergency Coordination Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands Government, the incident took place at approximately 12:30 p.m.
Upon initial assessment, the cyclist was found to have sustained moderate multiple bruises. He was subsequently rescued by the helicopter and transported to Tenerife North Airport, where a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) took over his care and conveyed him to Quirón Hospital.
