Cocaine Operation Cracked: Two Arrested in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 10 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

National Police officers, in partnership with the Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, have apprehended two individuals as part of an anti-drug initiative.

The incidents transpired last August when the officers, following a thorough investigation, arrested two adult males suspected of engaging in street-level drug distribution.

Throughout the operation, authorities confiscated €16,340 in cash, 2,100 grams of cocaine, 6 grams of MDMA, a large machete, and an electric shock device (taser).

The arrested individuals, who have prior convictions for similar offences, face charges of drug trafficking and were subsequently remanded in custody by the appropriate judicial authority awaiting trial.

This operation effectively dismantles an active cocaine distribution point in the central region of Tenerife’s capital.
